John was touring on his own when Stu Cook
and Doug "Cosmo"
Clifford wanted to do the same. John refused to entertain
any such "reunion". Although they did one last gig in 1980
at Tom Fogerty's (John's brother) wedding. The four of
them never did get together again. Tom died of AIDS in 1990.
Anyway, Stu and Doug are now part of a cover band called
"Creedence Clearwater Revisted", along with Elliot Easton
of the CARS. I saw Revisited on March 06, 2004.
