Photo filenames are categorized by  DATE.   Filenames are in the YYMMDD-NN
format.  Two digits for YEAR, MONTH, and DAY the Photo was taken followed
 by the image  NUMBER.    Some photos may have an A,  B,  or  HS  immediately
following the  DAY  digits.   These are either portions of the original  Photo  or  the
 High-Resolution, original image.  Examples follow:

980822-05  August 22, 1998 - Image 05.  Dworshak Reservoir
000324-06a March 24, 2000 - Image 06 High-Resolution.  Kingdome
021102-40  November 11, 2002 - Image 40.  Portland, Oregon
040629-38 June 29, 2004 - Image 38.  USS Carl Vinson

Photos are usually grouped together and displayed  as  THUMBS.   These Thumbs
are created using  Paint Shop Pro(R)  and are put into a  webpage  that allows easy
access by clicking on a horizontal group.   Examples follow:

021102 All images for November 11, 2002.  Portland, Oregon
040629 All images for June 29, 2004.  USS Carl Vinson

The  DAYS  and  MONTHS  are listed in a master  YEAR INDEX .  The master
 YEAR INDEX is located under the Northwest Thumbs link.

Photos will also be accessible by CATEGORIES, PEOPLE, BUILDINGS,
 PEOPLE, MOUNT RAINIER, and RANDOM PHOTOS. These are located
on the MAIN (or HOME) Page of  NW-PHOTOS.COM,  linked above.

Photos  on  this  website are cropped and  compressed  in from their original high-
resolution,   non-compressed  format.    All  original  High-Resolution  photos  are
available by request.
