About NW-Photos.com (with photos)

NW-PHOTOS.COM
came online as a DOMAIN August 28th, 2003

It became operational on November 2nd, 2003

NW-PHOTOS.COM was started because of the popularity of the
amateur photographs that were posted on my personal website,  www.charpy.com.  It became apparent that the growing number
of photographic images should be on a website of their own.

The website is dedicated for photos of the Beautiful Pacific Northwest
which includes the States of Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.
It is my goal to create the *BEST*
Online Photo Catalog for the Pacific Northwest.

The website is constantly being updated.
Last Updates are listed on the bottom of key pages.

If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions please contact me
 nw-photos@comcast.net

All the photographs and images on this website are
*FREE FOR THE TAKING*

However,  it is ENCOURAGED that credit be given to
NW-PHOTOS.COM.

ALL PHOTOS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE IN THEIR
ORIGINAL HIGH RESOLUTION FORMAT
BY REQUEST via E-MAIL TO:

Below are photos taken the day I updated this page.... (050403)

Designing web pages on Sunday, April 03, 2005

My 2.66mhz Compaq in the garage has dual monitors.  It's also
the music jukebox for my 7.1 surround system.  I do most of the
NW-Photos work here while listening to the best rock n' roll
(and a Bacardi & Coke or two)

My Gateway Laptop is telneted into the Linux gateway.  It logs all visits
to both NW-Photos.com and Charpy.com in REAL TIME.

This is my generic 933mhz running Slackware Linux.  It's my router
and firewall for my home network, connected via Cable Modem.
It runs http for my website logging and smtp for email to Charpy.com.

The Linux box has two network cards. One for the Cable Modem and
one for my Hub.

I wired my house for CAT5 back in 1998, before wireless
became an alternative.  I put TWO drops in each room as
well as additional CABLE TV drops.

My 3.06mhz HP system in the house that I use when not using the
system in the garage.

My home server, located in the exercise room. It's a 1.9ghz HP.
It contains all the files for my home network,  and it backed up daily.

All FIVE computer systems also run SETI@HOME.  Here's my profile.

Any and all images can be used freely and without permission.
The only request is that credit be given to NW-Photos.com.
